I would like to thank all the volunteers for all their hard work before, during and after our Opening Day. Our organization does not work without our great volunteers. A special thank you to Diane Mohnkern for organizing this year's Opening Day. It could not have been better. She even ordered beautiful weather.

We hope that you and your family had a wonderful start to our softball season and we look forward to seeing you at the fields for the next couple of months.

We are finalizing this year's season schedule and I will be sending it to your coaches later this week.

The 2010 Players' Clinic will be held on Saturday, February 27th from 12 - 3 at the SBMSA Softball Complex located at 1700 Campbell.

This year, our 15U, 12U and 10U girls will be trained by Frozen Ropes, a nationally syndicated training group. We are luck to have them and hope that you will come and take part. Check out Frozen Ropes at www.frozenropes.com.

Our 6U and 8U groups will be trained by Scott Cooper, a longtime friend of SBMSA and owner of Sports Dynami X. He is excellent training young girls in softball techniques and we are sure that your daughter will get valuable softball fundamentals from this year's clinic.
